Welcome to NICOYS e-forum

Dear NICOYS members,
I am delighted to inform you that despite the apparent sluggish pace at which NICOYS is moving, the vision and dreams are still very much alive. The network which was conceived in 2005 finally had its inaugural meeting of the Interim board in February 2009. Decisions at this inaugural board meeting have already been posted to NICOYS NEWS corner of the website homepage. The newest effort is the creation of the forum aspect of NICOYS website. The forum corner will be used to stage e-conferences and discuss other S&T topics related to Nigeria. Members of NICOYS have the opportunity to start and post e-discussion topics while guests to NICOYS website can only contribute to any opened e-topics.

I should inform you that the greatest challenge faced by NICOYS website right now is the regular updating of the website, so don't be too discouraged if you notice that some of the features are staying rather too long. We are working feverently to solve this problem.

In a few days to come we shall start our first e-conference which will be opened to all to participate.

Please accept my regards as I welcome to you a new dawn in Nigeria's science and technology history.
